Helpful Links for Domestic Abuse & Violence


Safety Alert: Computer use can be monitored and is impossible to completely clear. If you are afraid your internet usage might be monitored, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1−800−799−7233 or TTY 1−800−787−3224. 





Here are a few links I came across during my search for help. I hope they can help you or someone else who is being abused or may believe someone they care about is being abused.



National Domestic Violence Hotline - "Highly-trained advocates are available 24/7/365 to talk confidentially with anyone experiencing domestic violence, seeking resources or information, or questioning unhealthy aspects of their relationship."

Love is Respect National Teen Dating Abuse -  Very helpful for adults as well. Call, chat, or text. There are many helpful articles as well. Call 1-866-331-9474 or TTY 1-866-331-8453

HelpGuide: 'Domestic Violence and Abuse' - "There are many signs of an abusive relationship, and a fear of your partner is the most telling. If you feel like you have to walk on eggshells around them—constantly watching what you say and do in order to avoid a blow-up—chances are your relationship is unhealthy and abusive."
